Indepro has a unique global network of partners obtained during three decades of work.
Håkan Knutsson started his career in ABB, which took him into power transmission and distribution and longer assignments globally: Thailand, Taiwan, Venezuela, South Africa and Brazil (4 years). As global director of sales and project his global team had a turnover of several billion SEK. Later he moved to a US-based industry group in automation and control, based in NY. Back in Skåne, southern Sweden he took on turn around challenges and Lean transformation as CEO in two manufacturing companies.
For 7 years he transformed and developed Sustainable Business Hub in Malmö to leading cluster in City Development with focus on utilities (district heating, waste management, waste water treatment and biogas).
Since 2008 he is chairman of the executive board of SweHeat and Cooling, Swedish Council for District Heating. He is partner/owner in Sustainable Energy Angels (early phase business angels, www.seangels.se ), and board member of energy tech companies.
He has developed new district heating systems in Sweden, trained energy company board members and worked with high tech start-ups.
Graduated from LiU (MSc Industrial Engineering & Management and executive courses at INSEAD, Henley, MiL he is part-time researcher at Halmstad University (Energy and Innovation Science) and trained on innovation processes.

www.rewardheat.eu is a EU Horizon innovation project, where Indepro is partners, responsible for two demonstration cases in Helsingborg and Mölndal. In the cases different platforms such as district heating, geothermal boreholes, back-end, front-end connected heat pumps and advanced control are used. Some call it 5 GDHC.
